Overview

Clippr is a clipboard management application for macOS. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Clippr application, visit our website, or join our waitlist.

Data Collection

When you join the waitlist or create an account, we collect the following:

  • Email address to notify you about Clippr updates and availability
  • Technical data including your browser type, referring page, and a securely hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting and security

We do not use cookies or tracking pixels on this website.

Clipboard Data & AI Processing

Your clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac and never leaves your device except when you use AI-powered features.

AI features run through zero-data-retention (ZDR) inference. When clipboard data is sent for AI processing, it is used solely to generate a response and is immediately discarded afterward. Our inference provider has confirmed the following:

  • Inputs and outputs are not stored, leveraged, or shared.
  • Conversations are not used for AI model training purposes.
  • Data is deleted once it is no longer needed to generate a response.

Clippr itself does not store, log, or retain any data sent through AI features. All clipboard data remains on your Mac before and after processing.

Data Storage

Account and waitlist information is stored securely in our database and is used only for operating the service and sending updates about Clippr. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your information at any time by contacting us directly. You can also unsubscribe from communications through any email we send.
