Agreement to Terms

By using the Clippr application, visiting the Clippr website, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must accept these terms and our Privacy Policy before using the application.

The Service

Clippr is a clipboard management application for macOS. It saves your clipboard history locally, provides search and organizational features, and offers optional AI-powered categorization. During the beta period, an account is required to use the application.

Accounts

An account is required to use Clippr. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to accept responsibility for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

AI Processing & Data

When you use AI-powered features, request data is sent to Clippr servers for pre-processing, post-processing, and analysis before and after inference. Requests are also sent to our inference provider, Cerebras, for model processing. Data handled by Cerebras is subject to Cerebras' privacy policies and terms.

We may collect telemetry and metadata about AI requests and app usage for reliability, billing, abuse prevention, and product improvement. Your actual clipboard content is only held in RAM during request processing and is removed from Clippr services as soon as the request finishes. We do not log your actual clipboard content.

Permitted Use

You may:

• •Use the Clippr application for personal or professional clipboard management
• •Access and browse our website for information about Clippr
• •Join the waitlist to receive updates about the application
• •Share information about Clippr with others

Restrictions

You may not:

• •Use the application or website for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable laws
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' information
• •Submit false or misleading information when creating an account or joining the waitlist
• •Use automated systems to access our services without permission
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application

Beta Program

During the beta period, Clippr is free to use. By participating in the beta, you acknowledge that the application may contain bugs and that features may change. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the application. We may send periodic updates about development progress. An account is required to use the beta application.

Access and Revocation

To protect the service and other users, we may suspend, limit, or revoke access to Clippr at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason. We are not required to provide a specific reason for a revocation decision.

Security Testing and Abuse

We appreciate good-faith security testing, but only when it is safe and authorized.

• •Acceptable testing generally means testing you are authorized to perform, in agreed scope, at reasonable rates, without degrading service or accessing data you are not permitted to see.
• •Abuse includes unauthorized scanning, denial-of-service behavior, automated high-volume attack traffic, account takeover attempts, credential stuffing, exploiting vulnerabilities beyond minimal proof, or any attempt to access, alter, or exfiltrate another user’s data.

Vulnerability Reporting

If you discover a serious vulnerability that threatens service integrity, security, or user data, please report it promptly to hello@getclippr.com.

• •Stop testing once the issue is confirmed, and do not continue exploitation.
• •Do not access, copy, modify, or disclose data that is not yours, except to the minimum extent needed to demonstrate the issue safely.
• •Include clear reproduction steps, impact, timestamps, and any relevant logs/screenshots in your report.
• •Do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Clippr and all related services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clippr and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application, website, or any related services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Clippr after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
